As President of Consolidated Glass Corporation, Mr. Merryman continues in the footsteps of his family by representing the 4th generation in the glass business. A member of our team since 1984, Louis brings over forty years of personal experience into the glass fabrication and tempering business, which he used to ascend into the role of President in 1994. Under his direction, Consolidated Glass Corporation has experienced exponential growth while evolving into the premier industry leader in the glass fabrication business.
Louis resides in Neshannock Township, Pennsylvania with his wife Lynn, while also being the proud father of his two children, Shane and Madison. He enjoys spoiling his two grandchildren, Connor and Aidan, almost as much as he enjoys spoiling his two golden retrievers, Chase and Zoe.
Prior to entering the business Mr. Merryman earned a BA from Denison University in Mathematics and Economics. He serves on the UPMC Jameson and New Castle YMCA Board of directors. His hobbies include hot air ballooning, traveling the world, as well as being an avid golfer.
Howard Holesapple comes to us with over 30 years of experience in the glass business having first been introduced to the industry in 1979 with his first job working with auto glass while installing windshields. Since that time he has worked his way up through the glass industry as an installer while gathering vast amounts of knowledge with his numerous projects in retail, commercial and residential applications. Howard used his knowledge of glass to climb the corporate ranks from sales associate all the way to Vice President of Sales here at Consolidated Glass Corporation.
“During my years working in the glass industry the main thing I have seen is the amount of evolution that has occurred over the last 15-20 years. While these changes can sometimes be challenging, I am very encouraged about where Consolidated Glass is headed in response to these changes, and look forward to what the future holds”.
Outside of work Howard enjoys singing with a variety of different musical groups, almost as much as he enjoys golfing. In his words, “GOLF = Greatest of life’s frustrations”.
